Small solutions
for real business

01 / SERVICES

Getting the parts to fit.

The work.
And the bits between.

From a website build to a workflow that spans several tools, the work is about getting the parts to fit.

01

Websites and web apps

Turn your designs into responsive websites and web apps, with the back-end functionality they need.

02

Integrations

Connect your website, CRM and other business tools so data moves between them without copying it by hand.

03

Workflow software

Replace repetitive tasks with forms, dashboards and automated workflows. Permissions, checks and ways to recover from failures are part of the build.

04

Practical AI

Use AI to extract information from documents, search your data or help review material. Results are checked, with human review where judgement matters.

02 / APPROACH

The details
are part
of the job.

A working screen is only part of a working product. Data needs to be checked. Permissions need to make sense. Failed jobs need a way back. Odd Little Bits handles the work around the feature as well as the feature itself.

Technical choices start with the business problem: what needs to happen, what can go wrong, and what the people using it need. Clear scope and plain written updates keep the work easy to follow.

03 / STACK

A modern stack.
Chosen for the work.

Modern web technologies for websites, connected systems and workflow software. The tools are chosen around your project and the systems you already use.

Websites and apps
Responsive interfaces and the back-end functionality behind them. Tools include TypeScript, React and Node.js.
Data and integrations
APIs, databases and automated workflows that connect your existing systems. Examples include REST APIs and PostgreSQL.
AI and automation
Document processing, search and assisted review, with checks and human oversight where needed. Using AI APIs and background jobs where they fit.

04 / PROCESS

Everything starts in writing.

How it
works.

A clear brief. A considered build.
A useful handover.

  1. Send the brief

Describe the project, the tools involved, what is getting in the way and any deadline. Existing designs or technical notes help, but a clear outline is enough to start.

  2. Agree the scope

Questions, deliverables, budget and boundaries are worked through in writing before the build starts.

  3. Build and review

Work is shared for review with written updates. Briefs, questions and feedback are handled in writing, so there’s no need to schedule calls.

  4. Hand it over

The finished work comes with the source, setup notes and an agreed handover. Any ongoing support is scoped separately.
