API integrations for your client projects.

Connect websites, CRMs and other business tools so information moves between them without repeated copying and pasting.

Odd Little Bits provides API integration services for small agencies that need development help on a client project. Scope, questions and progress are handled in writing.

When the tools don’t quite fit

A website collects enquiries, but someone still enters them into the CRM. An update in one system never reaches another. A dashboard depends on spreadsheets that someone has to keep exporting.

Integration work connects those steps around the way your client’s business operates.

What we can connect

Websites and CRMs

Move enquiries and agreed customer information into the right records, with checks for missing fields and duplicates.

Business tools and systems

Exchange information between applications, using their APIs and webhooks where available.

Dashboards and workflows

Bring information together for review, or trigger the next step when something changes.

These are examples of possible work. The systems involved and their available interfaces determine what can be built.

Agree the connection before building it

The first step is understanding what needs to happen:

  • Which systems are involved?
  • What information should move, and in which direction?
  • Which system holds the authoritative record?
  • How quickly do updates need to happen?
  • Who should have access?
  • What should happen if a system is unavailable?

These decisions become a written scope, with deliverables, budget and boundaries agreed before development starts.

Include the failure cases

A connection needs to handle more than a successful request.

Depending on the project, the build can include data validation, duplicate handling, retries, permissions and useful error logs. Checks and handover notes make it clear how the connection works and what to do when something needs attention.

Ongoing monitoring and support are scoped separately.

A few common questions

Can you work with the tools our client already uses?

That is the starting point. Send the tools involved and what needs to happen. Available APIs, permissions and platform restrictions will shape the options.

Can you help with an existing integration?

Existing connections can be reviewed and improvements scoped. Include what currently works, what fails and any technical notes you have.

What if one of the tools has no API?

There may be another supported way to exchange information. That needs checking before promising a connection.

Have something that needs connecting?

Tell us which tools are involved, what information should move and what is getting in the way. Include any deadline. Please don’t send passwords or access tokens.
